Virginia Network conference

FYI -

The Virginia Network is pleased to present its annual state conference at Richmond Marriott in Richmond, Virginia on Friday, June 1, 2012.  The conference theme is Connect, Discover, Empower: Finding Strength and Unity Through Diversity.  The conference features a panel of college presidents:  Linda Thomas-Glover, President Eastern Shore Community College and Dorothy Cower Yancy, President Shaw University.  The breakout sessions cover a wide range of topics and speakers and panelists from across the state.   We are especially grateful to Nakeina Douglas of Virginia Commonwealth University who chaired the planning committee and put together such an exciting array of sessions and speakers.

VESA Conference - Accepting Proposals

The VESA conference is coming up in February 2012.  They are currently accepting proposals.  Check out their conference website, and let me know if you're planning to submit a proposal.  If anyone wants to collaborate on a project, comment under this post so others will know.

It looks like from past conference presentations that you can present on just about anything related to ESL.  They don't give any guidelines or topic preferences that I can find.
